Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an Estimator to support residential and commercial construction projects across Australia. You will analyze architectural docs, source pricing, and prepare targeted proposals to win bids and drive profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, architectural studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience reviewing architectural plans, specifications, and schedules; preparing project pricing; and interpreting contracts
• Proficiency in construction cost estimation and the use of construction calculators
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong planning, time management, and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability when managing changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and schedules to identify project requirements.
• Estimate materials required for the supply and installation of louvres and metal doors
• Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review and prioritize incoming pricing requests based on deadlines and business requirements.
• Evaluate project tender requests, summarize requirements, and determine the time and resources needed to prepare accurate pricing.
• Source material, supplier, subcontractor, and other external pricing required to complete estimates.
• Estimate construction materials for the supply and installation of louvres, metal doors, and related products.
• Prepare and present targeted project pricing through comprehensive and professional client proposals.
• Calculate and price project variations throughout the project lifecycle.
