Skill Cloud in Philippines is seeking a Residential Estimator with proven Australian estimating experience to support our growing construction projects. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and structural works, review drawings, and gather pricing from suppliers to align with AU standards.

This part-time position offers the possibility to move to full-time based on performance and project needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an estimator for Australian residential or structural projects.
Strong knowledge of Australian construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Ability to read AU drawings and plans.
Experience with estimating software Buildxact.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and structural construction projects (AU-based).
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and BOQs
Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and subcontract works
Source and analyze supplier and subcontractor pricing based on Australian standards
Prepare and submit accurate quotations, budgets, and tender documents
Identify potential cost risks and variances
Update estimates based on design changes and project scope adjustments
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and builders as needed
Ensure estimates comply with Australian building codes and industry practices
