Private Advertiser in Makati is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to prepare accurate estimates, take-offs and budgeting across multiple projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.

You will price projects, monitor costs, compare suppliers, and provide weekly performance reports, working closely with management and operations to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience in plumbing, earthworks, landscaping, pools or related sectors.
• Proficiency in estimating and quoting software, preferably PlanSwift.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with Australian construction terminology and pricing standards.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate project estimates and quantity take-offs, including bulk excavation requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the estimated budget.
• Support profitability targets through accurate pricing and cost control.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential labor, material, or resource issues.
• Provide weekly project performance reports comparing actual costs against budget.
• Coordinate project requirements including labor, materials, equipment, schedules, and risk factors.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline.
• Track and monitor the status of submitted quotations.
• Price project variations and identify scope gaps and commercial risks.
• Negotiate competitive material pricing from suppliers.
• Ensure materials are purchased from approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain profit-tracking systems for each project.
