Job summary

The Moment Group is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician to keep restaurant facilities and kitchen equipment in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair to minimize downtime across multiple store locations in Cebu City.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing problems; maintaining records; and ensuring safety standards. Occasional travel and varied shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome (Dual Tech or equivalent).
• Graduate of Electromechanical, HVAC, or Technical-Vocational course.
• Electrical NC II, RAC, or Welder NC II certification is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and commercial kitchen equipment repair.
• Willing to travel to different store locations; motorcycle is an advantage.
• Physically fit for field maintenance.
• Willing to work on morning, night, or graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on restaurant facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen issues.
• Carry out major and minor repairs on HVAC/R systems.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (bain marie, burners, ovens, steamers).
• Carry out plumbing works for water supply and drainage.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication on carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Inspect equipment regularly to prevent breakdowns.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and maintain maintenance records.
• Coordinate with store operations to minimize disruption; travel to stores as required.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on restaurant facilities, kitchen equipment, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen equipment issues.
• Conduct major and minor repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including bain marie, burners, electric and gas ovens, steamers, and other food service equipment.
• Carry out plumbing works involving water supply and drainage systems.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication works on carbon steel and stainless steel when necessary.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.
• Coordinate with store operations to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities.
• Travel to different store locations as required to perform repair and maintenance work.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferably with 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Dual Tech graduate or equivalent).
• Graduate of Electromechanical, HVAC, or any Technical-Vocational course.
• Electrical NC II, RAC, or Welder NC II certification is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and commercial kitchen equipment repair.
• Willing to work on morning, night, or graveyard shifts.
• Willing to travel to different store locations; applicants with their own motorcycle are an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing field maintenance work.
