KitchenCare Consultancy Phils Inc is seeking a skilled Kitchen Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in hotel settings. You will perform preventive maintenance on ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, refrigerators, and more, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Kitchen Technician responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment. The role ensures that all kitchen equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the hotel's operational standards.
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, exhaust systems, and other kitchen equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
Conduct regular inspection of kitchen equipment to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
Perform electrical and mechanical testing using appropriate tools and equipment.
Coordinate with the Culinary and Food & Beverage departments regarding equipment concerns and repair schedules.
Ensure repaired equipment is properly tested and safe for operation before returning it to service.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment conditions.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
Follow hotel safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and proper handling of tools and equipment.
Coordinate with external contractors or suppliers when specialized repairs or servicing are required.
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
Technical/vocational graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Kitchen Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Equipment Technician is preferred.
Experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is an advantage.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and their operation.
Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and equipment manuals.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work in hot, humid, and demanding kitchen environments.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency repairs when required.
