Job summary

Bigby's Cafe - Missy Bonbon - Boy Zugba is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Restaurant Equipment In-Charge to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across restaurant equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot air-conditioning, refrigeration, and kitchen systems, conduct plumbing and basic electrical tasks, and coordinate with service providers as needed.

The role requires travel to different branches, independent work, and a strong focus on safety and records of maintenance

Qualifications

• At least vocational graduate or technical graduate (TESDA NC II or equivalent preferred).
• With at least 1–2 years of experience in refrigeration equipment maintenance and repair.
• With experience in maintenance work (restaurant, hotel, commercial, or industrial setting is an advantage).
• Knowledge in air-conditioning repair, refrigeration repair, electrical, plumbing, and basic mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance issues.
• Willing to do fieldwork and travel across branches.
• Honest, reliable, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all restaurant equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair air-conditioning units, refrigerators, freezers, and other cooling systems.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, and other food service machines.
• Conduct plumbing repairs including sinks, drainage systems, and restroom facilities.
• Handle basic electrical works such as lighting, wiring, and minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of all store equipment across branches.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests from different restaurant branches in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with external service providers and suppliers for major repairs and technical support.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Assist in installation of new equipment for store openings or renovations.
• Travel to different branches as needed for maintenance and repair work.
