Verified First is seeking a Verifications Specialist to verify employment, education, references, and license status for job applicants for our clients. This remote role involves outbound calling, research, and documentation to support client verifications.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to processes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong communication with clients and candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year(s) experience in an office setting.
• At least 1 year of experience in U.S. Domestic Background Screening.
• Strong phone presence required, with a professional demeanor.
• Working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Navigate between multiple windows/browsers with ease, perform extensive internet research, and type 45 WPM.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, be on the phone for extended periods, and perform extensive internet and phone research.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls daily in education, employment, and reference verifications for clients.
• Review and complete verification requests as ordered by clients.
• Conduct internet research to verify information provided by job candidates.
• Email businesses, schools, and organizations to verify information.
• Conduct interviews with professional references to assess work history.
