hammerjack is seeking a detail-driven Bookkeeper to support US property management and multifamily portfolios from a remote position with US shift hours. The role covers ledgers, reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly closes across multiple properties and entities.

The candidate will work directly with US-based clients, manage move-ins/move-outs, deposits, and lease-related transactions while ensuring timely, accurate reporting and strict attention to detail.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience supporting US property management, residential real estate, or multifamily accounting/bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience maintaining property, tenant/resident, or rental ledgers.
• Strong English communication and client-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multifamily properties and apartment portfolios.
• Maintain clean General Ledger records across properties and entities.
• Own AP/AR processes: vendor invoices, payments, rental receipts, and resident balances.
• Record and reconcile rent payments, deposits, fees, credits, and balance sheet items.
• Support lease accounting: move-ins/move-outs, security deposits, and related transactions.
• Investigate discrepancies between records and PM systems or bank transactions.
• Close month with journal entries, accruals, and monthly financial reports.
• Maintain complete, accurate records for reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with US-based clients and finance leaders to provide updates.
