You will lead quality reviews of financial statements, oversee data clean-up and migrations, and mentor junior staff while delivering actionable insights and reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of U.S. bookkeeping or accounting experience across multiple clients.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Sheets.
• Experience with property management systems (AppFolio, Buildium).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle bookkeeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
• Record and reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and merchant accounts.
• Maintain general ledgers and chart of accounts; handle AP/AR and invoicing.
• Perform quality review of financial statements before fees or owner distributions.
• Lead data migration and clean-up projects, standardizing charts of accounts.
• Calculate monthly management fees and post related journal entries.
• Process owner distributions, reconcile accounts, and prepare owner statements.
• Execute full month-end close and generate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Coordinate onboarding for new clients and provide actionable insights.
