Job summary

TeamUp is hiring a full-time independent contractor Bookkeeper to support U.S. clients from the Philippines. The role requires exclusive commitment with no part-time or freelance engagements while employed.

You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including US payroll, and maintain accurate financial records, collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations. Remote work enables flexible scheduling and continuous learning in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–4 years of U.S. bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Hands-on U.S. payroll processing experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for small businesses, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Process U.S. payroll, including payroll calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and related payroll reporting.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records and data entry into accounting systems.
• Collaborate with tax and accounting teams for integration of processes.
• Stay updated on U.S. bookkeeping and tax regulations.
