Magic, Inc. is seeking a freelance Virtual Bookkeeper in the Philippines to join a remote talent pool serving diverse clients. You will handle core bookkeeping tasks across multiple industries with flexible engagements and fast matching to projects.

Candidate experience in AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting using cloud accounting tools is essential, with strong attention to detail and adaptability to client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial administration experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and bank reconciliation.
• Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to handle confidential information.
• Experience supporting small businesses or startups is a plus.
• Additional bookkeeping certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable across client entities.
• Perform payroll processing and payroll tax support tasks.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
• Maintain data entry and bookkeeping documentation for multiple clients.
