Job summary

Emapta is hiring a Staff Accountant to manage GL accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and AP/AR for a portfolio of outsourced client accounts. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery in a global, work-from-home setting.

The candidate will utilize QuickBooks and Sage Intacct to ensure precise financial reporting, collaborate with Senior Accountants, and support month-end close processes across multiple clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in outsourced or multi-client environments.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct.
• Strong General Ledger experience including reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Experience processing AP and AR transactions.
• Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and timeliness in deliverables.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements.
• Enter and pay accounts payable invoices.
• Prepare and send customer invoices.
• Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly client financial reports.
• Support Senior Accountants, Accounting Managers, and Controllers with tasks.
• Perform other duties as required.
