Job summary

Somewhere seeks a Senior Accountant to independently manage client portfolios in a remote, multi-client setting. You will own the full accounting cycle, review transactions, reconcile balances, and prepare financial statements while ensuring GAAP compliance and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in public or outsourced accounting, strong QuickBooks Online proficiency, and experience coordinating with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA designation or in-progress CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in public or outsourced accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as primary accounting contact.
• Own monthly close and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Review variances and resolve discrepancies with clients.
