Job summary

Hireframe, a remote-first staffing provider, seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to own all accounting operations and AP policy implementation from home, aligning with US PST hours. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in accounting, solid GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

You’ll manage AP, general ledger, monthly close, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls, partnering with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices.
• Ability to handle high AP volume with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable including vendor onboarding and aging.
• Own general accounting and month-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits and tax filings.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation for policies.
