Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking an experienced Accountant for a remote, full-time role handling international client accounts with North American hours. You’ll manage full-cycle accounting, from AP/AR to month-end close, delivering accurate financial statements and insightful variance analysis.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting, 3+ years serving abroad, strong English, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Bill.com. CPA welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years accounting or bookkeeping for clients abroad (public practice or industry).
• Strong English written and spoken communication; client-facing experience essential.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; experience with Xero/Bill.com/Google Workspace is a plus.
• CPA and non-CPA professionals welcome; comfortable with North American night shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for international clients: AP/AR, journal entries, closings.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn/runway.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies; run payroll with proper approvals.
• Collaborate with abroad teams; translate financials into clear English and flag risks.
