Job summary

DCX is seeking a Home-Based Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to support the day-to-day AP activities for a US-based client. You will process vendor invoices, handle payments and expense reports, and ensure accurate GL coding with proper approvals.

You will also support general ledger activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multi-entity structures, collaborating closely with the Controller and Accounting team.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in invoices, reconciliations, documentation, and records.
• Strong organization and time management to handle multiple transactions and deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication with Controllers, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting functions for assigned entities, including journal entries and posting in D365.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate completion of tasks.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations across entities.
• Assist with audit schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation reconciliations.
• Support AP/AR functions as needed and provide coverage during peak periods.
• Adhere to accounting policies, controls, and documentation standards.
