Job summary

Beepo in the Philippines is seeking an Accountant with Australian and Xero experience for a remote, day-shift role. The role covers end-to-end bookkeeping, AR, AP, payroll support, and month-end tasks across multiple entities.

You will handle bank reconciliations, BAS, PAYG, supplier payments, and data entry in Databuild and MYOB, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing. Strong knowledge of Xero is preferred, with attention to detail and collaborative work style.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of prior bookkeeping experience preferred, and preferably in accounts payable.
• Recognized qualification in bookkeeping or accounting preferred.
• Competent with numbers and math, with an understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Happy disposition, easy to get along with.
• Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial.
• Experience with DataBuild software ideal, but we understand it may not be widely used.

Responsibilities

• Handle NAB ARD/ARP and CC transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist payroll as required.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all entities.
• Process creditor payments and monthly BAS/PAYG.
• Enter invoices and reconcile debtors/creditors.
• Maintain supplier records and data entry in Databuild/MYOB.
• Reconcile GST/BAS and assist month-end reporting.
• Support other bookkeeping tasks as needed.
