BruntWork is seeking an experienced accounting professional for Senior US Payroll and full-cycle accounting. The role focuses on hands-on duties beyond data entry, managing core accounting tasks, payroll processing, and financial record-keeping with increasing responsibilities over time.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, contractor capacity as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive hands-on US payroll experience.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and higher-level accountant functions.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end accounting and daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop.
• Process U.S. payroll, including deductions, taxes, and related records.
• Perform complex account and bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with high accuracy.
• Maintain financial records and assist with financial reporting and month-end closes.
• Handle advanced accounting tasks and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.
