BruntWork is seeking an experienced Accountant (QuickBooks) for a part-time, remote role serving a client based in Metro Manila. The initial focus is a 2026 catch-up, backend cleanup, and reconciliation, followed by ongoing daily accounting tasks including payroll, tax filings, invoicing, purchase orders, and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities cover catch-up work, backend corrections, and routine accounting duties with attention to accuracy and timely reporting.

Formación

• QuickBooks expertise and hands-on experience with backend setup, cleanup, and error resolution.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Payroll processing knowledge and payroll tax filings accuracy.
• Strong bank/credit card reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
• Detail-oriented with precision and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication on progress, deadlines, and insights.

Responsabilidades

• Catch-Up & Cleanup: Bring 2026 financial transactions and accounts up to date.
• Audit QuickBooks setup, resolve misallocated entries, fix backend errors, clean chart of accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant platforms for accuracy.
• Daily ledger entries: record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks.
• Manage A/R: issue invoices, track receivables, follow up on collections.
• Manage A/P: handle POs, match to bills, track payables.
• Process payroll and payroll taxes; file returns and remittances.
• Generate regular financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, aging reports) and ad-hoc analyses.
