BruntWork is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Desktop) for a remote role supporting a U.S.-based LED lighting company. You will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and provide weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity.

You will compile year-end documentation and coordinate with the CPA for IRS filings, working independently to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on bookkeeping experience supporting a U.S.-based company.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, especially transaction entry and reconciliations.
• Experience managing cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts.
• Experience preparing year-end financial records and supporting CPAs with IRS filings.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good written and reading English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• High level of accountability and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working remotely and consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Enter and maintain invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts in QuickBooks Desktop.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly.
• Monitor weekly cash flow and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Track upcoming payments and expected collections and proactively flag potential cash shortfalls.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budget-versus-actual comparisons.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and organize complete year-end financial documentation for the CPA.
• Coordinate with the CPA and provide additional records or information needed for IRS tax filings.
