Job summary

Sharesource is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong Australian accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze financial data for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, GL integrity, budgeting support, and interaction with AP/AR.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
• tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, GL, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST, BAS, and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports and analyses.
• Support AP/AR, payroll, and statutory compliance including BAS and GST.
