Job summary

Sharesource Australia BPO is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Australian accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyse financial data, maintain accurate records, and support compliance and financial decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience including AU accounting
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations and reporting
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting and general ledger integrity

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure correct recording of transactions.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial and management reports.
• Review revenue, expenditures, balance sheet movements and variances.
