Job summary

Advice to Talent is seeking a senior Financial Accounting Specialist to own the month-end close for multiple entities. You will manage balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll-related accounts, producing audit-ready workpapers with minimal supervision.

You will also handle inter-entity reconciliations (AU and US entities), ensure accurate financial statements, and support variance analysis and management reporting using Xero and other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Autonomous month-end close experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong balance sheet and P&L reconciliation skills.
• Experience with AP/AR processes and payroll-related reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end close across balance sheet and income statement.
• Perform bank, PAYG, superannuation, prepayments, accruals reconciliations with audit-ready workpapers.
• Reconcile AR and manage invoicing, collections, and aged receivables.
• Conduct inter-entity reconciliations between AU and US entities.
• Maintain clear documentation and progress tracking on month-end checklists.
