Job summary

Coconut is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our US-hours team, offering a monthly rate of $1250-$2150 and full-time availability. You will manage the complete accounting cycle, supervise external resources, and help build scalable processes in a dynamic, remote setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of GAAP accounting experience (AR/AP/GL), strong accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with the Director of Finance & Operations on budgets and reporting. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of diverse GAAP accounting experience including AR, AP, GL, reconciliations, reporting.
• Ability to supervise outsource team and ensure accuracy.
• Strong analytical and deadline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycle with AR/AP/GL, month-end close, and financial statements.
• Partner with Director of Finance & Operations on budget development and process improvements.
• Provide HR/admin support including onboarding/offboarding for contractors.
