Job summary

REMOTE STAFF, INC. is seeking a Philippines-based Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting for a US-based beauty brand. This part-time role (20–25 hours/week) requires strong GAAP experience, advanced QuickBooks Online skills, and multi-channel ecommerce know-how.

You will work with the US management team, streamline processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting, inventory valuation, and internal controls, while coordinating with external CPA support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong GAAP experience and ability to work with US-based practices.
• Advanced, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Proven background in e-commerce accounting (Shopify, Amazon, wholesale).
• Robust inventory accounting, including COGS and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting in QuickBooks Online, including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Track revenues, fees, and transactions across Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale accounts.
• Manage inventory accounting, including COGS, valuation, POs, and adjustments.
• Maintain reconciliations between accounting records and inventory systems.
• Improve procedures, reduce manual work, and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with US management and external CPA support as needed.
