Job summary

OpsArmy seeks a Senior Accountant to support end-to-end accounting for ecommerce clients. This fully remote role covers month-end close, reconciliations, and delivering accurate financial records for a portfolio of engagements.

You will use QuickBooks Online, inventory and cost accounting, and ecommerce/CPG expertise to ensure timely reporting and strong controls from the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with transactional accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of ecommerce or CPG accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, current records.
• Ability to manage deadlines and proactively elevate issues.

Responsibilities

• Support or own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned portfolio of clients, which may include AP, AR, and payroll-related tasks.
• Own specific accounting tasks within the month-end close cycle.
• Prepare and support the delivery of client accounting deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items as needed.
• Request, organize, and follow up on missing documentation from clients.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records in accounting applications, including QuickBooks Online.
• Identify and elevate open items, roadblocks, and issues to the Controller in advance of deadlines.
• Support internal process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and other accounting team efforts.
• Work closely with the Controller and other team members to ensure client engagements are completed accurately and on schedule.
