Job summary

Outsourced.ph in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (Retail/QuickBooks) for a full-time, remote role. You will handle end-to-end accounting tasks across multiple locations and e-commerce channels, collaborating with a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial records.

You will touch AP, payroll support, fixed assets, revenue posting, tax compliance, and month-end close. The role offers growth opportunities in a supportive, ISO-certified environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, expense coding, and vendor management.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and working with large datasets.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage recurring workloads and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Code and enter vendor invoices accurately and process payments on schedule.
• Revenue Posting & Sales Reconciliation: Post daily sales and reconcile variances.
• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations: Reconcile multiple bank and card accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Sales Tax & Compliance Support: Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns and maintain filing calendars.
• Payroll Support & Expense Management: Assist with payroll data and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Fixed Assets & Depreciation: Maintain asset schedules and post depreciation entries.
• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Post journals, accruals, and balance sheet schedules.
• Excel, Reporting & Record Keeping: Build reconciliation trackers and schedules.
