Job summary

Sauce is seeking a Senior Accountant to own AP, P2P, vendor and contractor payments, and monthly close in a 100% remote role based in the Philippines. You will collaborate with the Controller in a lean finance team, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and scalable processes. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of accounting, strong U.S.

GAAP knowledge, QuickBooks Online expertise, and experience with intercompany accounting across U.S. and international entities.

Qualifications

5–7 years of accounting experience with ownership of P2P/AP
Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; accrual-based accounting expertise
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and G Suite
Hands-on use of AI tools to design workflows in P2P, reconciliations, and close
Experience with intercompany accounting across U.S. and international entities
Independent, remote work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end AP: vendor onboarding, bill creation, payment processing and ledger maintenance
Process contractor invoices and align payment schedules
Coordinate with owners for approvals and contracts prior to payment
Maintain vendor master data and audit-ready records
Post and review monthly accruals and payroll entries
Import and reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports
Perform daily bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
