Job summary

Outsourced.ph, a leading Philippines-based outsourcing firm, is seeking an Accountant for a remote role in the Philippines. You will participate in full accounting cycles for a multi-location retail business, handling AP, payroll support, fixed assets, revenue posting, and month-end close.

You will work closely with senior accounting leadership, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while utilizing QuickBooks Online and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, expense coding, and vendor management.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and working with large datasets.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage recurring workloads and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Code and process AP invoices and vendor payments accurately.
• Post daily sales from store locations and e-commerce channels; reconcile variances.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns; maintain filing calendars.
• Post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll liabilities; expense coding.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
• Post routine journal entries and assist with month-end close deadlines.
• Build and maintain reconciliation trackers and schedules; assist with ad hoc financial analyses.
