Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to be the first point of contact for prospective customers.

You will qualify inbound leads generated over the weekend, understand customer needs, and connect high-potential opportunities with the sales team. You'll help create a positive first impression of Lightspeed while ensuring leads are effectively assessed and progressed through the sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role.
• Experience within a technology, software, SaaS, mobile, or related industry is highly regarded.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Qualify warm inbound leads generated through marketing channels such as webinars, trials, demo requests, and quote requests, primarily via phone and email.
• Create a positive first impression for prospective customers by delivering a high-quality and engaging customer experience.
• Understand customer needs and assess whether Lightspeed's solutions are the right fit for their business.
• Manage and prioritize multiple lead sources, including inbound calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within Salesforce.
• Partner with the Sales Development Manager to identify new opportunities to grow pipeline and improve lead conversion.
• Consistently achieve individual and team targets while contributing to broader revenue growth objectives.
