Job summary

The Linux Foundation is seeking a Sales Development Representative to be the first contact for potential clients across membership, training and events. You will evaluate lead potential, perform warm handoffs, and keep CRM data clean.

This remote role supports the sales team and drives revenue with strong process discipline. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales or sales operations, a degree is preferred, and a proven ability to manage inquiries and build relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales or sales operations.
• Experience with ticket desk handling.
• Experience with CRM contact management (HubSpot and Salesforce a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships for win/win outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate MQLs and provide warm handoffs to sales within 1 hour of designation.
• Maintain HubSpot and Salesforce records for contacts and leads.
• Prepare sales reports for the team.
• Assist with auditing lead pipelines to ensure accuracy.
• Support revenue growth and customer-facing activities.
