Job summary

Checkmarx is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and qualify opportunities across the APJ region. This fully remote role is based in the Philippines and collaborates closely with the regional Sales team to generate pipeline and accelerate Checkmarx’s growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development, lead generation or high-volume sales.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) mandatory; additional APJ languages a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience prospecting across APJ markets desirable.
• MEDDIC methodology experience advantageous but not essential.
• Background in SaaS, enterprise software or cybersecurity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Strategically execute high-impact outbound prospecting campaigns in the APJ region to drive pipeline.
• Utilise multi-channel approach: LinkedIn, high-volume calling, and personalized emails to engage and qualify leads.
• Prioritize proactive outbound activity to generate pipeline and qualify inbound leads quickly.
• Identify and qualify high-potential opportunities using MEDDIC where applicable.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and customers across APJ in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and lead statuses in Salesforce and related tools; hit quarterly quotas.
