Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Engineer Specialist to assist our Senior Sales Team in managing project and bid workflows while working from home. The ideal candidate combines engineering knowledge with sales experience and strong Salesforce skills to understand technical project details and support the sales cycle from bid requests through project updates.

This role is focused on sales operations support—not administrative tasks—and requires sharp analytical abilities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (required).
• Sales experience or experience supporting business development or sales operations (required).
• Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience (preferred).
• Understanding of construction processes and multi-family project workflows.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication, especially with General Contractors and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• High ownership and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects and bid requests in Salesforce as directed.
• Prepare bid documents using estimates from the Project Estimator.
• Update Salesforce records for projects, opportunities, and bids.
• Coordinate with General Contractors for updates and timelines.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of Salesforce data across sales activities.
• Assist the Sales Team with technical sales support tasks.
• Coordinate with Estimator, Project Management, and Sales leadership for smooth handoffs.
