Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a remote Safety Administrator to own the day-to-day administration of the company’s safety, insurance, and risk program for its W-2 workforce, including Outside Sales Employees, canvassers, operations, and office staff.

You will administer OSHA recordkeeping, employee incident investigations, workers’ compensation support, and subcontractor insurance documentation, all without site visits. The role emphasizes policy drafting and remote program management across states.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in safety, risk, or compliance administration.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and state plan variations.
• Experience with OSHA recordkeeping and reporting obligations.
• Experience administering workers’ compensation claims and working with carriers and brokers.
• Understanding the distinction between W-2 and 1099 engagement and related practices.
• Strong policy drafting and written communication skills.
• Ability to work fully remote across multiple states with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the written safety program for the company’s W-2 population and training.
• Administer OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 recordkeeping and annual postings.
• Manage subcontractor insurance certificates and contract documentation.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and work with carriers and brokers.
• Produce leadership reporting on incidents, claims, and insurance compliance.
• Maintain centralized documentation for training, incidents, and contracts.
