Job summary

Chargeflow, Inc. seeks a proactive Reconciliation & Collections specialist to match customer payments to invoices and close gaps across SMB to Enterprise accounts. You will work in a highly spreadsheet‑driven environment, pull data from multiple systems, and own the reconciliation end to end.

You’ll chase open items past month-end and help automate workflows using AI tools to reduce manual steps. You will collaborate across Billing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success, communicating

Qualifications

• 2+ years in reconciliation, collections, billing, or accounts receivable (fintech/SaaS/eCommerce preferred)
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability
• Persistence to resolve unpaid/reconciled items beyond month-end
• Strong Excel skills for pivot tables, lookups, and large data sets
• Critical eye for data across multiple systems to verify accuracy
• Attention to detail to drive discrepancies to zero
• Responsive and easy to work with across Slack, monday.com, email and calls
• Clear communication to non-finance stakeholders, including customers
• Curiosity about using AI tools to reduce manual effort
• Native or near-native English communication
• Ability to handle customers from SMB to Enterprise
• Familiarity with chargebacks or payment disputes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Reconcile customer payments against invoices across the full customer base.
• Match payments to invoiced amounts and close the loop between payment received and invoice issued.
• Investigate unmatched, partial, or unexpected items to root cause and resolution.
• Track what each customer owes and follow up until fully resolved, even past month-end.
• Own accounts end to end ensuring reconciliation is clean and complete.
• Maintain clear, well-documented working papers showing balance derivation.
