Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to support a US-based accounting firm. You will diagnose QuickBooks files and clean up books to bring them up-to-date and audit-ready.

You will review, reclassify, reconcile, and tidy AR/AP, COA, and bank records, ensuring accuracy and clear communication of findings. Strong English and US GAAP understanding are essential, with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Experience with cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and diagnose existing QuickBooks files for errors and inconsistencies.
• Reclassify miscategorized transactions and correct the chart of accounts.
• Reconcile historical bank and credit card accounts.
• Clean up accounts payable and accounts receivable aging.
• Identify and resolve duplicate or missing entries.
• Bring client books up to date and audit-ready.
• Document cleanup work and communicate findings clearly.
