Job summary

Remote Staff, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Virtual Conveyancer to own Queensland matters end-to-end. You will manage residential sales, purchases and transfers, acting as the primary contact for clients, agents and opposing firms.

The role requires 5+ years of conveyancing expertise, mastery of LEAP and PEXA, and superior English communication. This is a remote, part-time position aligned with a fixed Australian schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated Queensland conveyancing experience.
• Proficiency in LEAP Legal Software and PEXA workspaces.
• High autonomy with minimal supervision.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End File Ownership: open matters in LEAP, diarise conditions, manage files to settlement and post-settlement reporting.
• Primary Contact & Client Management: onboarding, VOI, provide status updates by phone and email.
• Searches & Due Diligence: order and review title searches, plans, encumbrances and certificates.
• Drafting & Document Preparation: review contracts, prepare transfer docs, coordinate duty assessments, extensions.
• PEXA & Financial Administration: balance PEXA workspaces, coordinate settlement figures with financiers.
• Stakeholder Liaison: maintain prompt communication with agents, brokers, banks and opposing solicitors.
