Remote Staff, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Virtual Conveyancer to own Queensland matters end-to-end. You will manage residential sales, purchases and transfers, acting as the primary contact for clients, agents and opposing firms.
The role requires 5+ years of conveyancing expertise, mastery of LEAP and PEXA, and superior English communication. This is a remote, part-time position aligned with a fixed Australian schedule.
Job Status: Part-time (20hrs/week)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4 hours between 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Philippine Time (fixed schedule TBD)

We are seeking an autonomous, highly experienced Virtual Conveyancer to take full ownership of our Queensland conveyancing matters from end to end. Working under the general oversight of the Principal, you will run residential sales, purchases, and transfers across their entire lifecycle while serving as the primary daily contact for clients, real estate agents, brokers, and opposing firms.
End-to-End File Ownership: Open and set up matters in LEAP, diarise and enforce strict contract conditions (finance, building & pest, cooling-off), and manage files through to final settlement and post-settlement reporting.
Primary Contact & Client Management: Serve as the front-facing contact for buyers and sellers; conduct client onboarding and Verification of Identity (VOI); provide regular, proactive status updates by phone and email.
Searches & Due Diligence: Order, monitor, and review title searches, plans, encumbrances, and all required local authority/council enquiry certificates.
Drafting & Document Preparation: Review standard REIQ contracts, prepare transfer documentation, coordinate duty assessments via QRO Online, and draft extension requests or formal contract correspondence when necessary.
PEXA & Financial Administration: Create, invite, and balance PEXA workspaces; calculate settlement adjustments, rates, and water figures; coordinate final figures and cheque/funds directions with incoming and outgoing financiers.
Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain prompt, professional communication with real estate agents, mortgage brokers, banks, and counterpart legal representatives to resolve issues before they threaten settlement.
5+ years of dedicated Queensland conveyancing experience with deep knowledge of REIQ contracts and standard conditions.
Demonstrated proficiency in LEAP Legal Software and hands-on experience managing PEXA workspaces.
High autonomy: Proven ability to manage a full conveyancing caseload independently with minimal daily supervision.
Exceptional spoken and written English: Clear, professional enunciation and tone, comfortable building trust and rapport over the phone.
Impeccable attention to detail: Strict adherence to contract timeframes, figures, and compliance procedures.
