Job summary

Law Assist Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Conveyancing Paralegal to manage end-to-end commercial property transactions in Queensland. You will collaborate with senior property lawyers across acquisitions, sales, and developments, aiming for timely settlement and strict compliance.

You will perform contract review support, due diligence, title searches, and PEXA settlement work while ensuring clear client communication and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in Queensland commercial real estate and leasing matters.
Drafting experience in deeds, leases, licences and relevant documents.
Experience in commercial real estate transactions.
Interstate experience is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

End-to-end management of commercial property files from contract through settlement.
Support review of contracts, conditions, disclosures and title search analysis.
Order and analyse due diligence searches and registrations.
Draft and finalise settlement statements and tax adjustments.
Coordinate electronic settlements using PEXA with institutions and counterparties.
Maintain proactive communication with clients, agents and financiers to track key dates.
Assist with leasing and business asset transactions as required.
Ensure VOI compliance and FIRB administrative tasks.
