D2B is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to support NSW property law practice remotely. You will help manage residential conveyancing files from instruction to post-settlement, coordinating with Australian-qualified practitioners to ensure timely, accurate progress.

The role requires 2+ years in Australian conveyancing, strong English communication, and proficiency with PEXA. Remote, international collaboration offers flexible scheduling and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Australian conveyancing experience; NSW residential conveyancing preferred
• Strong understanding of Australian conveyancing processes and NSW procedures
• Proficient in PEXA—hands-on experience essential
• Experience with LEAP or similar conveyancing practice management software
• Qualification in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; client-focused
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills; multi-file management
• Ability to work with Australian-qualified practitioners under supervision
• Proactive approach to problem identification and escalation

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing conveyancing files from initial instruction through post-settlement
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding progress, requirements, and timelines
• Obtain client documentation for review by supervising practitioners
• Ensure file records and documentation are accurately maintained
• Assist with preparation of contracts and supporting conveyancing documents
• Review contracts for completeness prior to solicitor or conveyancer review
• Draft settlement and transfer documents and correspondence
• Assist with amendments and special conditions under supervision
• Identify issues relating to title, zoning, easements, covenants and escalate
• Coordinate disclosure documents and statutory certificates
• Conduct property searches and manage due diligence
• Monitor settlement dates across active files
• Prepare settlement figures and liaise with lenders
• Coordinate execution of transfer and mortgage documents and packs
• Assist with electronic conveyancing settlements (PEXA/Sympli)
• Support VOI and compliance processes
• Escalate settlement risks to supervising practitioners
