Job summary

Tutor Me Education LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage company-wide payroll processes for US and California employees. This fully remote role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong English communication.

The ideal candidate will run bi-weekly payroll using ADP, maintain accurate employee records in Google Sheets and Excel, and ensure compliance with tax obligations. Experience with multi-state payroll and audits is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of payroll experience with ADP.
• Knowledge of US and California payroll regulations.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Use ADP to input new hires, terminations, salary changes, overtime and deductions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and up-to-date payroll data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax withholdings.
• Prepare and file payroll taxes and year-end forms.
• Generate payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
