Job summary

Kroll is seeking a Payroll Specialist to deliver end-to-end payroll for about 3,000 employees across the United States, Canada, BVI, Cayman Islands and Bermuda, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance.

You will partner with ADP and local providers, validate data, handle taxes, year-end reporting, and resolve inquiries while maintaining strict controls and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls for employees across supported jurisdictions.
• Validate employee data and complex transactions (hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, bonuses, commissions, retroactive pay, garnishments, benefits, equity-related income, deferred compensation, stock activity).
• Review payroll results, funding, direct deposits, and tax/deductions; resolve discrepancies before payroll release.
• Partner with ADP and local providers on payroll processing, tax services, compliance, and year-end delivery.
• Administer payroll taxes, retirement and pension programs, deductions, remittances, and year-end reporting (W-2, W-2C, T4).
• Coordinate with employees and stakeholders to resolve inquiries, support audits, and improve payroll processes and controls.
