Tutor Me Education is looking for a Payroll Onboarding Specialist to manage payroll processing across the United States with a focus on California regulations. The role requires strong ADP experience, advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

The position is fully remote, with responsibilities spanning bi-weekly payroll, data entry, tax filings, and payroll reporting. Collaboration with HR and finance is essential to ensure accurate, compliant payroll

Qualifications

• Experience in handling payroll through ADP payroll provider preferred.
• At least 3 years of payroll experience, including ADP.
• Knowledge of US federal and California tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel (formulas, pivots).
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in payroll tasks.
• Discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in multiple locations, accurate and timely.
• Input and manage payroll data using ADP for new hires, terminations, salary changes, overtime, deductions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and current payroll data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax withholdings and garnishments.
• Prepare and file payroll taxes and related filings.
• Generate payroll reports, track hours, overtime, and PTO; resolve discrepancies.
