Career Team is seeking a Director of US Payroll Operations to lead a remote team from the Philippines. You will manage payroll for 15+ states, ensure tax compliance, and act as the ultimate SME for ADP Workforce Now and related systems.

The role requires strong leadership, accounting/finance background, and the ability to work graveyard hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHST) to align with US time zones. Salary ranges reflect PHP monthly compensation and a US-facing payroll scope.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing US payroll across 15+ states.
• Proficient with ADP WorkforceNow and Kronos/UKG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CPP certification is a plus.
• Flawless English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the payroll staff for accuracy and growth.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll lifecycle for 15+ states, resolving complex tax issues.
• Lead withholding, filing, and reconciliation for SUTA/FUTA/FICA across states.
• Serve as SME for ADP Workforce Now and ensure data integrity.
