Job summary

STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to serve as the Paycom expert, handling payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and HR reporting. The role is remote and sits within Finance & Accounting, collaborating closely with People & Culture to bridge payroll operations and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 350+ employees, oversee benefits enrollment, COBRA, and 401(k) activities, and continuously improve payroll workflows

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in HR, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in corporate payroll; multi-state experience preferred.
• Payroll/HRIS experience with reporting tools and time/attendance systems; Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 350+ employees in Paycom.
• Review and validate time and attendance; follow up on missing punches.
• Process adjustments for bonuses, commissions, stipends, and PTO.
• Reconcile variable pay and timecard changes; run payroll journals.
