Medical Solutions in the Philippines seeks a Virtual Patient Safety Specialist to monitor patients in clinical settings via camera feeds and audio devices. Qualifications

Graduate of any Health-related course.
4-year course (eg. Nursing, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, etc.)
2-year course (eg. Midwifery)
Vocational Course (eg. Caregiver course thru TESDA)
With recent experience in the hospital setting or any medical facility
Demonstrates sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn the function and use of the streaming video monitoring equipment
Knowledge of, or ability to learn procedures and terminology applicable to the operations of the assigned work unit
Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Efficiency in multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the department
Must be willing to work in rotating shifts or US time zone.
Must be willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, QC

Responsibilities

Maintains visual observation of patients at all times.
Verbal redirects patients over a digital 2-way audio device in the patient room; notifies nursing staff as needed.

Monitors patient safety risks including fall, elopement, pulling lines, and suicide risk.
Uses proper phone/video etiquette with patients and staff.
Capable of monitoring up to 16 patients simultaneously and stays alert.
Communicates with patients via microphone and headset.
Ensures accurate entry of patient information into the software.
Documents required information per Continuous Virtual Monitoring protocol.
Follows established escalation protocols for routine and emergency situations.
