Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of Virtual Medical Assistant experience in US-based healthcare
• Proven experience handling high-volume patient calls
• Strong scheduling skills across provider calendars
• Excellent spoken and written English with clear pronunciation and listening
• HIPAA certification and patient confidentiality knowledge
• Experience using EMR systems (Nextech preferred) and ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound patient calls and determine next steps
• Schedule and manage appointments using the EMR
• Route inquiries to appropriate departments and escalate when needed
• Assist with call triage, refills, and billing inquiries as applicable
