Job summary

Hyre is seeking an Operations & Project Manager to oversee cross-department workflows, build SOPs, and scale business operations. The role focuses on creating foundational systems and driving efficiency without continuous executive follow-up.

You will own project tracking, assign owners, and provide weekly status updates on progress, blockers, and process improvements. A strong candidate will document SOPs and support payroll and inventory during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience across multiple departments or locations.
• Experience with SOP development and knowledge-base documentation.
• Strong written English and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-department workflows to prevent tasks from being forgotten.
• Break projects into actionable tasks, assign owners, set timelines and follow up until completion.
• Track operational and warehouse issues, assign owners, ensure resolution.
• Identify inefficiencies and present improvement proposals to leadership.
• Manage tasks in Connecteam and coordinate with technical teams on systems projects.
• Support HR, payroll and inventory processes during peak periods.
