Job summary

HyreUp is seeking an Operations & Project Manager to oversee cross-department workflows and ensure critical tasks are completed efficiently. You will build foundational systems and SOPs to scale the business to additional locations, and provide weekly status updates on projects, blockers, and improvements.

The role focuses on documenting SOPs, systemizing daily operations, and supporting HR & finance tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven project management experience coordinating cross-department work and writing/maintaining SOPs.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with moving-industry tools (Move It Pro, SmartMoving), Samsara, and project management platforms (Connecteam).
• Core Competencies: Excellent written English and strong professional verbal communication for customer and employee interactions.
• Remote Infrastructure: Dedicated home office with reliable internet and backup power.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-department workflows and ensure tasks are completed without ongoing executive follow-up.
• Break complex projects into actionable tasks, assign owners, set timelines, and own follow-ups to completion.
• Track operational and warehouse issues, assign owners, and verify resolution.
• Identify inefficiencies and present structured improvement proposals to leadership.
• Manage task tracking in Connecteam and coordinate with technical teams on systems projects.
• Assist with Samsara tasks to keep Hours of Service compliance.
