D2B, a Melbourne-based mortgage and finance brokerage, is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Broker Assistant to drive processing from application to settlement. The role is remote, aligning with Australian hours, and is a full-time position within the Australian market.

You will manage loan applications, verify supporting documents for compliance, liaise with lenders, and coordinate post-settlement activities while keeping clients and stakeholders informed throughout the journey.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of Australian Mortgage Processing or Broker Support experience.
Strong understanding of the Australian mortgage landscape, credit policies, and BID obligations.
CRM proficiency with Mercury Nexus, Salestrekker or similar platforms is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional client-service focus.
Meticulous attention to detail handling sensitive financial data and compliance paperwork.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Loan Processing: Manage loan applications lifecycle and data entry into CRM systems per lender requirements.
Compliance & Documentation: Verify client documents for Australian credit policy standards and BID obligations.
Lender Liaison: Act as primary contact with banks and lenders to track status and push files to approval.
Client Communication: Provide proactive updates to clients and stakeholders to ensure a transparent process.
File Preparation: Prepare Loan Strategy Reports and compliance documents for broker review.
Post-Settlement Support: Coordinate settlement logistics and post-settlement workflows.
